Short and Sweet

I am going to make this posting short and sweet. I am a sleepy girl and probably should be in bed by now. We have been a little M.I.A. lately. The weather here has been great, 70s all week. It has me itching to get to the beach! We are all doing well. Playing lots of golf and grilling out every night. Josh continues to enjoy his work & Lijah is getting settled into his new daycare. He is staying with a lady in our neighborhood that is in her 50s. She has a brother and sister that come on Mondays. So, all the other days, it is just Lijah. We sent in our application this week to this adorable little Montessori school in our little downtown. If there are openings, he will start in September and go every morning from 8:30-11:30.

This weekend we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk around the fishing pond in our neighborhood.

We have been taking nightly walks to the neighborhood playground also. Lijah just gets so excited and he burns tons of energy (double bonus!) He is so observant. The other night, he said, "look Mom, a full moon." Then, he said, "Mom, I see a rain cloud" because there were dark clouds in the sky. He is now noticing all the numbers on the mailboxes and will point out how many #4s he sees. He is still a trip with his lining up of toys or anything for that matter. It is not just lining up one or two cars, the boy will line things up across the entire floor! And he gets so proud! I think he is going to be my little extroverted engineer.

Time to go get some sleep. Thank goodness it is almost Friday! Mom and Dad are coming into town this weekend and Dad has volunteered (via Mom) to babysit Saturday night. This will be interesting :)
