Two weeks ago, it was my Friday off and Josh was out of town, so Lijah and I decided to have “Mama and Me Day”! We had originally planned to go the beach for the day, but the weather looked a little cloudy in the morning.
We took a picnic lunch to Pullen Park. It was fabulous! They have totally remodeled the park. They have great new playground facilities! We rode the train, the carousel and had a blast!
Our Mama and Me Day wasn’t over yet! After two hours at Pullen Park, we headed to the Life & Science Museum downtown. This is one of Lijah’s favorite places to visit. Several of the exhibits were closed because they are opening a brand new wing in just a few weeks. But, we still had a great time! We ended our day with yummy snow cones!
