Last weekend was so busy!!! Josh went to Orlando for a few days to help Uncle Brian move. He was supposed to come back Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, at about 10:30, Lijah and I were getting ready to head out for his soccer practice. All the sudden, little Winkie starts barking like crazy! Then, I hear “Daddy’s Home!” Josh left at midnight Friday night from Orlando & drove all night to arrive a day earlier! We sure did miss him and he missed us too!
Lijah’s first soccer practice went well. He gets so excited being around so many kids, he loses his interested in actually playing soccer. As long as he is having a great time & burning energy that is what matters!
After practice, we rushed home for a quick break & snack and heading to Durant Nature Park. They had a great little program called “Sly as a Fox.” There were only about 6 kids so it was a nice small group. Papa came with us so Lijah was really excited! He loves learning things and spending time with his Papa! We learned that there are 2 kinds of fox in our area, red and gray. And only the gray fox can climb trees. We learned what fox like to eat, where they sleep and even went on a hike in search of evidence of a fox!
Last minute Saturday night, we decided to head to the movie theater! We saw Journey 2: Mysterious Island. It was a really good family movie. We all hit the sack as soon as we got home.
Sunday = Day of Rest!!!
