Josh and I went to court on Monday to legally change Lijah's name to Elijah. When I was pregnant, we had both loved the name Elijah because it is original and biblical. But, we both have a strong dislike for Eli Manning and didn’t want Elijah shortened. So, we thought it would be a great idea to just drop the "E".
Unfortunately, no one gets Lijah's name. He is constantly referred to as a girl or Lizah! So, we decided to make his life easier to go with our original preference of Elijah.
So, he is now legally Elijah.
