Life's a Beach

What a fabulous way to spend a week! We had our annual beach trip that we have been absent from for years at Emerald Isle. The weather was wonderful and the house was amazing!

Lijah had the best time playing in the sand and in the water. He was super brave with the waves, I was surprised. He met a new friend that actually lives in Raleigh. They played so well together and I am hoping they will see each other again soon.

The beach is one of my favorite places in the world. There is nothing like the smell on the water and sand, the sound of the waves and the pure relaxation! Several times a day we would get a show from a family of dolphins. They would swim up and down the shore sometimes playing right before our eyes and catching the waves. I tried to get a picture of them, but I seemed to have always left my camera at the house when they were swimming. Lijah’s new friends Dad took some great pictures, so hopefully he will email them to me shortly.

Josh got to do some fishing even though nothing was really biting. Next year will be game time! Big time fishing! Papa vs. Josh 2010!!!

We are now back to reality….Lijah is fully absorbed into Montessori school, we are all back to work and life goes on….
