A day at the.... BEACH!!!

We finally made it to the beach, woo hoo! I can't believe it has been 3 years since I had smelled the ocean breeze and felt the sand between my toes... what a great feeling! We made a daytrip and stopped at the Battleship in Wilmington.


Then, we had lunch at the Blue Water restaurant in Wrightsville Beach. It is such a beautiful setting along the Intercoastal Waterway. It was surreal to sit outside, enjoy a yummy crab cake sandwich & watch the boats. Here is the view from our table.


Then, it was off to the beach!!!

Since I have been lacking on the blogging, here are some additional pictures. Two weeks ago, we went to one of the observation decks at the Raleigh-Durham Airport. It is one of Lijah’s favorite places to visit. The planes are so close! You can watch them take off and land, every boy’s dream!
