Josh had his knee surgery a week ago today. The doctor did such a great job and has the best personality. The first few days were very rough & exhausting. He is starting it get into a routine now of his physical therapy machine at home (min. 4 hours a day) and is moving fast on the crutches! The pain is much more manageable now and the doctor said he can start walking on it when he is ready.
Lijah wasn't sure about the "boo boo" on his knee but after a few days he didn't mind. Winkie (aka Barky von schnauzie aka Lincoln) has been such a sweetheart and keeps licking Josh's leg. Of course, he expects a belly rub in return.
On Sunday, Lijah said his 1st 5 word sentence, "I want to do Trash." I was cleaning up the house and he wanted to help, as usual. This past week Lijah has also gotten ALL of his colors down. He even walks around the house finding the same colored objects and yells "match!"
Winston and Winkie had their summer cuts yesterday. They both look adorable! I will have to take a picture and post it. They also both had their teeth cleaned last week so they have a new outlook on life. Winston is froggy as ever and enjoys all the hugs from Lijah. For some reason, Winston "allows" Lijah to lay on his back and give lots of hugs. Winston wasn't always "kid friendly."
